New patients

Know exactly what you're walking into

A full hour one-on-one with the doctor, treatment the same day, and flat prices published up front. Scroll through the hour exactly as it runs.

Before you arrive

Two things, both off the clock

Booking and paperwork happen before the visit, so none of your hour gets spent on either.

Before you arrive

Complete your intake

An intake questionnaire arrives by email right after you book. Complete it ahead so Dr. Nguyen can review your history in advance, and the full hour goes to you, not paperwork.

Your first hour

Sixty minutes, one patient

No waiting room shuffle, no five-minute crack-and-go. This is the new patient exam exactly as it happens, start to finish.

  1. Two low armchairs facing each other in a dark room: the health history conversation that opens the hour

    About the first 10 minutes

    Your story, actually heard

The hour starts as a conversation, not a clipboard. Dr. Nguyen has already read your intake; now he digs into the story behind it: when the pain started, what makes it better or worse, what you've tried, and what you're training for.

    • Intake reviewed before you walk in
    • Questions about how you live and train, not just where it hurts
    • You set the goal that counts as fixed
  2. A single kettlebell lit against a dark background: the movement assessment, built around how you actually train

The longest stretch of the hour

    Watch how you actually move

This is where the athletic clothes come in: a detailed movement assessment of how you squat, hinge, reach, and load, looking for the pattern behind the pain instead of just the spot that hurts.

    • Squat, hinge, reach, and load, tested one by one
    • Painful and pain-free ranges mapped
    • Strength and mobility baselines to measure progress against
  3. An anatomical model of the spine and pelvis with the discs lit blue and one upper segment lit red: naming the structure driving the pain

    Midway through

A diagnosis that names the cause

Not a label for the sore spot: a root-cause diagnosis of what's actually driving it, explained in plain language until the why makes sense. You'll understand what's going on before anything gets treated.

    • Root cause, not just symptoms
    • Explained until it makes sense
    • Assessment always comes before any adjustment
  4. A chiropractic treatment table lit along its edge: hands-on treatment starts in the same visit

    The back half

    Treatment starts the same day

No coming back next week to begin. Hands-on care starts in the same visit: adjustment where it helps, manual therapy, and guided movement, so relief is underway before you leave.

    • First treatment included in the exam
    • Adjustment plus rehab, not one or the other
    • You leave with relief started
  5. A chess knight standing alone on a slate slab: the report of findings and your next move

    The last stretch

    Leave with your next move

You and Dr. Nguyen walk through the report of findings: what's driving the pain, the plan to fix it, what happens each visit, and how progress gets measured. The plan is designed to end, not to book you forever.

    • A plan you help build, not a script
    • Progress measured against your own baselines
    • A clear answer on what it takes to stay out of the clinic

After the first hour

The plan is designed to end

Visit one finds the cause. The visits after it follow the same honest arc: calm the pain down, fix what caused it, and build the strength to keep it gone.

  1. Reduce Pain

Hands-on treatment calms the symptoms fast so you can start fixing what actually caused them.

  2. Fix Your Patterns

Retrain the movement faults and weak links that keep sending you back to the table.

  3. Become Resilient

Build the strength and capacity to train hard, move well, and stay out of the clinic.

Sixty minutes. One patient. $150.

That's the whole first visit: history, movement assessment, diagnosis, and treatment the same day. Every follow-up price is published below.

What to bring

Come ready to move

No clipboard at the door and no gown: your intake is done online before you arrive. The visit is built around how you move, so dress for it.

Dress to move

Wear athletic clothes you can actually move in. The exam looks at how you squat, hinge, reach, and load, not just where it hurts.

Shorts for lower body

Coming in for a knee, hip, or ankle issue? Shorts let Dr. Nguyen see and treat the joint without working around fabric.

Arrive a few minutes early

Give yourself a few minutes to park and get settled so the full hour goes to your exam, not the clock.

Bring what you have

Any imaging, reports, or notes from previous care are helpful, but nothing is required. Your history is covered in the intake.

Questions, answered

Everything people ask before booking

Straight answers on cost, insurance, referrals, and what the first visit actually involves.

Do you take insurance?

Next Move is a cash-based practice with flat, published prices: the fee you see is the fee you pay, and no insurance company decides your care. For specifics on HSA/FSA cards, superbills, or receipts to submit to your insurer, call or email the office and we'll point you in the right direction.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

No. Florida allows direct access to chiropractic care, so you can book online today. No physician referral required.

How long is the first visit?

The new patient exam is a full hour, one-on-one with Dr. Nguyen: your health history, a detailed movement assessment, a clear diagnosis, and your first treatment, all in the same visit.

Will I be treated on the first visit?

Yes. The exam includes your first treatment session the same day, so you leave with relief started, not just a diagnosis and a follow-up date.

What happens after the first visit?

You'll walk through a report of findings with Dr. Nguyen: what's driving your pain, the plan to fix it, and how care progresses from reducing symptoms to rebuilding strength. From there, follow-ups are standard treatment or soft tissue visits, and every price is published on this page.

What if I'm not sure this is the right fit?

Start with the free 15-minute consult. It's a telehealth call with Dr. Nguyen to talk through your symptoms, history, and goals, then get an honest answer on whether this is the right place for you before you spend a dollar.

I was in a car accident. What does the exam cost?

Nothing. The new patient exam is $0 for motor-vehicle-accident cases. Call the office at (321) 662-2278 and we'll get you scheduled.

What conditions do you treat?

Low back pain and sciatica, neck pain and headaches, shoulder pain, knee and hip pain, and sports injuries, plus the stubborn cases where nothing else has worked. Each has its own page under Conditions with how the four-step pathway applies to it.

Where are you located? Is parking easy?

1801 E Colonial Dr Ste 105, Orlando, FL 32803. We're on Colonial in the heart of Orlando, five minutes from downtown and the Milk District, with parking at the door.

What should I wear?

Athletic clothes you can move in. The exam looks at how you actually move, not just where it hurts. For knee, hip, or ankle issues, shorts make assessment and treatment easier.
